Greenfield Youth Football and Cheer Program

The Greenfield Youth Football and Cheer Program (GYFCP) is a co-ed, cheerleading program, for all children in 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, that live within the Greenfield School District boundaries.  Led by a Board of Directors and volunteers, GYFCP is proud to be a member of the Wisconsin All American Youth Football League (AAYFL) organization.  
 

Our goal is to have 3 Cheerleading teams for 2024:

• 3rd and 4th Grade
• 5th and 6th Grade
• 7th and 8th Grade

The cost to register will range from $130 to $350 depending on the options selected. Some options are required, while others are optional. There is an Early Bird discount on the base package. If you register before 6/1/24, you will automatically save $50 off of the "base package" during checkout! 

 

Registration "a la carte" options:

• Base package (registration fee, uniform rental, hair bow): $130 (required)
• Elite classes (1 class per week for 3 months): $135 (required)
• Poms, female athletes only: $25 (required)
• Megaphone, male athletes only (in replace of hair bow and poms): $60 (required) 
• Embroidered cheer jacket: $66 (required)
• Personalization to cheer jacket (new and existing jackets): $5 (optional)
• Personalized cheer backpack: $60 (optional)

To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account information available. 

• Payments are due in full this year. No payment plans.
• There is an online processing fee of (3.0% + $1.50) per payment that will be added to the total of each sale.
   

ALL REGISTRATION FEES NEED TO BE PAID IN FULL BY THE FIRST PRACTICE.

What is included in the $130 base package?

• Rental of an official cheerleading uniform (needs to be turned in at the end of the season)
• Hair bow (female athletes) 
• Misc registration fees

What are Elite Tumbling classes?

• New in 2024, we've partnered with Elite Tumbling in Caledonia to offer classes (1 class per week for 3 months) to our athletes. 
• Every athlete needs access to Elite Tumbling in Caledonia, as we will be having practices at their facility. If you already have a membership to their facility, you don't need to add this cost to your registration.
• If you are not a member at Elite Tumbling, you will need to add this cost to your registration. It's $45x3 months, for a total of $135.00.
   

Optional "a la carte" items

• Poms/Megaphone: Every athlete needs a set of poms (female athletes) or a megaphone (male athletes). If you have your poms/megaphone from last year, no need to add this cost to your registration. These are items you keep at the end of the season. Side note, if a male athlete prefers poms to a megaphone, we are ok with that too!
• Cheer jacket: Every athlete needs a matching cheer jacket. New in 2024, we can personalize the jacket with your name! If you have your jacket from last year, no need to add this cost to your registration. You keep the jacket at the end of the season.
• Cheer backpacks: Personalized cheer backpacks are optional.
   

What do families need to provide?

• White socks
• White cheer shoes (no KEDS)
• Black leggings (female athletes) 
• Cheer liner (long sleeve shirt for under uniform) *optional

A $300.00 volunteer fee CHECK will be due at equipment hand out. This check will be returned to you upon completion of your scheduled volunteer commitment. This needs to be a separate check as we will hold it all season until your volunteer requirements are fulfilled, and return it to you at equipment turn-in at the end of the season (or before, if time allows, once your volunteer commitment is fulfilled).

A $100.00 uniform fee CHECK will be due at equipment hand out. This check will be returned to you when the uniform is returned at the end of the season. This needs to be a separate check as we will hold it all season until you return our uniform. 
 

Unfortunately, in previous years, we've had families not return our gear. It is very costly to our program if we borrow out equipment and uniforms and items don't get returned to us.

Each year GYFCP will hold a mandatory fundraiser for all athletes. Fundraising is essential to keep our program registration cost low, and still be able to maintain our equipment from year to year. Parents must keep in mind that this is the athlete’s fundraiser and commitment to the program and encourage the athlete to be an active participant in this fundraiser. Options for fundraising vary each year. In 2023, families had the option to sell Milwaukee Co Pretzels, Krispy Kreme donuts, candy, or pay for a buy-out. Various payment options are accepted: cash, check (from the athlete's family), or Venmo.

To participate in the Greenfield Youth Football and Cheer Program (GYFCP), athletes must meet the one of the following criteria:

2. If an athlete resides outside the Greenfield School District Boundaries, they must have attended a Greenfield School District School for at least the previous 2 years.  (A verification form must be completed and signed by the  attending school administrator.)

3. If an athlete resides outside the Greenfield School District Boundaries, and within a district that does not have another AAYFL youth football team, please contact the GYFCP President, Tim: president@greenfieldyouthfootball.org
